School Mascots

I should say all schools having a mascot. Has anyone ever seen a Bearcat ? Well I saw my first real picture of a Bearcat. I have been told stories about such of a animal, but never knew what one looked like in real life. So all of those football teams with mascot of a Bearcat , here it is. Baby Bearcats. Thanks!

(And I'll be honest...I didn't believe there was such a thing. We played Aledo for years, and every time I made fun of them in my head for having an imaginary mascot...LOL)

Several years ago, Aledo played Monahans in the semis. Monahans had a sign that said "What the hell is a bearcat?".
I asked that question once when I was in HS and we were playing a team called the Bearcats, and the response I got was
"it's a s--- eatin' possum!".
