Liberty Hill has VERY strong running backs in Escamilla and the other dude, but Caldwell gift-wrapped that come-from-behind win with turnovers on its own 15 yard line. Liberty Hill, though, deserves credit. You could have an 8-win year if you keep it up. Caldwell, on the other hand, seems to have not learned from past years in sitting on leads. With that auto-pilot system, the Hornets will be lucky to beat Troy and maybe Smithville. Forget Marlin, Cameron and Giddings!

Caldwell played a good game. They have some very good players. Don't short change Liberty Hill. Anything that Caldwell gave us, we also gave them. It was a game full of first game mistakes. The winning factor in this game was a senior filled Liberty Hill team that did not give up. Caldwell will win more than two games this year.
