Gonzales should move up one spot and then West Columbia up one spot; move #8 to #10. Everything else should stay the same.

Jesus, no way in hell LH is 19th in this really weak region lol Specially with Smith out, you've gotta knock Wimberley down. If they meet LH first round it's easily a toss up now more than ever.

I knew my picks would get a rise out of some but it's just my opinion.

Lol my panties aren't in a wad. I'm just respectively letting you know you are wrong:p
LH and Wimberley will be a dogfight, whoever prevails will easily coast for 2 more rounds I would think.

Sweeny had 7 TO'S vs. Brookshire Royal. 5 were unforced. Very sloppy game but don't write us off that quick we only lost by 14.

I think Devine should be in the top 10.

watched Boerne last night a year a from doing great things but looked for them to make a little noise this season...could make a run in their district.

Liberty Hill should be in the top 10, IMO. Wimberley should remain in the Top spot until they prove they cannot win without Smith. You wouldnt move up a team on one player coming back, so you shouldnt assume all will come apart with him leaving.

But....to be totally honest, we are not the same team with Smith gone, along with the other 4 starters who are out. But we will be getting back at least a couple of those other players (fingers crossed) before the season is done, and there is a thought going around town that its possible Smith just MIGHT make it back by the play offs...still an unknown for sure.

The fact remains that chances are very high we will win all of our district games, mostly due to the weakness of the competition (I know on any given night...blah blah blah). But if you were betting your money on it...you'd bet on Wimberley to win all the games, even without Smith.

So...I would say Wimberley should remain on top until proven otherwise by performance.

Rank them wherever you want, but Wimberley has more than just Smith. I saw a VERY good passing game Friday night. Smith is an amazing back, but someone else will step in and you never know, the o line may step it up to compensate.
