One of the reasons I come to the site on friday nights is for score updates....and I trust the posters that post them. When you post incorrect scores, accuracy of the site becomes questioned.

As a fan of Texas High School football, that traveles to as many games as possible, I too depend on this site for updates.

As a consultant, according to your profile, you would be annoyed by someone providing you inaccurate information that affected or reflected on your job performance.

I'm proud of the Cougars. Win and lose with class and that is what we should all hope for out of both teams.

Brownwood is a heck of a team and they will be strong into the playoffs.

Why are you even on this thread? Oh yeah, to bash on Brownwood. All you do is post on stuff about us that you know NOTHING about. One of our runningbacks who is about 4th or 5th on the depth chart of runningbacks was running the ball down their throat. We attempted one pass in the second half and that was the backup QB. We scored in the second half on an INT returned to the 1, we scored after returning a kickoff to their 1 after getting a safety on them because a snap went over their QBs head.

Unless you know something, keep your mouth shut!

I agree with bwdlionfan. Starters on offense played 1st series and most of the defense starters never saw the field in the 2nd half. 2nd string qb let the playclock almost run out on every down. Helll, we even put in the 3rd string punter cause he "wanted to give it a try"

I would like to see your justification for these scores before you go running down Brownwood for playing second and third teamers almost the entire second half.

China Spring moved the ball on us pretty good especially in the first quarter. Once we held them on a couple of big plays and forced the pass our secondary took over. Hopefully we can keep this up and good luck to China Spring the rest of the year. I have to say last night was probally the cleanest played game I have seen all year. China Spring was a classy team both when they were in the game and when they were way out of it.

Nope. 23 points off extremely short fields(25 yards or less running simple dive plays) and safety due to interception return, safety kick-off return and bad punt.

Milking the play clock, running base offence plays, not throwing, pulling 1st string.

I've seen running up the score, this was not the case. As much as iI do not like Brownwood nor the outcome of last night's game....this was one that just needed the 6 man Mercy Rule.

To stay with BW you have to play keep away and score. CS ran the ball effectively all night long burning off large chunks of the clock. BW D made timely stops and their offence scored on quick strike drives overcoming several 3rd and longs with outstanding passes/receptions. BW ran the ball extremely effectively. Size was not an issue.. CS could not match BW's speed on either side of the ball.

QB play and team speed ....pure and simple.

Like rabid said...CS ran the ball on BW. CS had 145 rushing in first half.....could not finish! BW made the stops when needed. Brownwood is the most explosive offensive team I have ever seen on the 3a level! We are very disappointed in our play....should have given them a much better game! If you make 1 mistake (we made many)...BW will exploit you in a heartbeat! Good luck BW....the real season begins for us....gatesville after our bye week!

I think we came out a little soft and realized we better start playing in a hurry. China Spring is a good program with a lot of class. Brownwood took CS out of their game plan after about 1 1/2 quarters. When you play BW your offense has to execute every down every possession. This team is so explosive that defenses start guessing and you can just picture the defensive coaches scratching their heads. I think most teams we've played would agree the Brownwood has the ability to make you play their game, much like a basketball team that controls the tempo of the game. If we are on, I honestly don't think we are beatable. Us fans don't mean to sound like high-fiving chestbumpers we are just so excited about this team! I was not really sold on him being a QB that could lead us to the promise land, but about the Stephenville game he reeled me. Graylon has been awesome so far this year, makes good throws and really very very few mistakes
