Take your pick:
1. The refs were crooked.
2. The wind was AGAINST us the WHOLE game!
3. Nobody TOLD us they were THAT good!
4. It was too far for our fan base to travel!
5. The other side's fans were classless and their
TEAM didn't deserve to win!
6. Gosh, we just NEVER knew where the ball was!
7. Our COACHES were stupid!
8. We played on GRASS! (No kidding, REALLY?)
9. We played on TURF! (see above)
10.You got ten times more kids than us!

This is my "favorite" excuse and I will tell you why.

"We beat ourselves, we made way to many mistakes, and when you fumble the ball and don't execute, you can't be expected to win"

Well Sports Fans....DUH

But here is my take on that excuse.

The game of football always boils down to Discipline and Execution. If you don't have the discipline to hold on to the ball, or the discipline to execute your game plan, and the other team did not turn the ball over, and the other team capitalized on YOUR mistakes. Guess what? The other team was better for it..and YOU GOT BEAT. Plain and simple. NOBODY BEATS THEMSELVES and EVERYBODY BEATS THEMSELVES..that is why it is such a great game. But you should NEVER EVER take away from another teams win, because your own team failed to execute, and the other team BEAT you for it.
