Giddings looking for a "pick up" game

[1st and goal]

Since the tragedy in WOS has cancelled our game this weekend, the paper quoted Coach Fitzhenry looking for another team to play since next weekend was originally scheduled to be an off week.

It'll be next to impossible to schedule a game with this short amount of time available but if anyone knows of anyone else's offweek next week, maybe it could happen.

That being said, I wonder how being off for 2 weeks prior to district will effect the Buffs. It could heal some tender muscles but maybe relax the brain muscle too much???

I'm hearing that Giddings and Taylor are playing on the 30th in Giddings.

If it's at the Varsity level, Taylor doesn't have that option.

2a Stockdale cancelled their game with Odem last week so they'll be a game short

Sweeny is open on the Oct. 1st and and 22nd. Coaches should call if they want to play.

That'd be great! I'd be cool with it being at a neutral field as long as they stay out of Houston area. Waller has a nice stadium. hint hint

This is funny. Looking for games on here. Just b/c a team has an open week doesn't mean they can play. MOST already have ten games and can't just add one on their open week. But keep searching. Just let the coaches know when you get one scheduled for them.

Giddings game with WOS was cancelled due to Reggie's death. The coach stated in the paper that he was trying to find 1 more game before district started. What's so funny 'bout that?
