Fellas, I follow Stephenville and everything about them.

Let me tell you, Brownwood is for real and you wont know it until you play them. They have weapons all over the field. The thing is that Defending them is impossible. If you want to double cover Jaxon, go right ahead. Chaistan, McShan, Longoria, Ratliff and Graylon will make you pay.

Stephenville is big up front, best OL we have had in awhile and we HUNG with them for awhile to the 3rd QTR. 20-16 I think. Then Brownwoods conditioning kicked our tail the rest of the way. 49-16.

So all of you that think that Brownwood cant play in the 4th are sadly mistaken.

I am not a Brownwood homer but I have seen Brownwood play for a lot of years and this squad is unbelieveable.

Brownwood has NO weakness. So if you want to step on the field with Brownwood good luck because they are going to play you like a cheap guitar.

Stephenville tried and look how that turned out.

Wrong-O. There hasn't been a lot of noise from Bridgeport about Brownwood. ONE poster started a thread, and a couple of Bridgeport posters responded in the thread. That ONE poster does not speak for the town of Bridgeport.

And actually I think the Brownwood players and coaches wouldn't be screaming so much as trying to figure outwhere everyone went. I'm betting the Brownwood coaching staff alone probably outnumbers the entire town of Paradise, no? Wouldn't a Brownwood arrival in Paradise obliterate the town altogether? ;)

I'm know Brownwood is a good team, and should be the favorite to win it all this year, BUT we won't know just how good they are until they start playing the better teams from other regions. You can't judge how good they are, comparatively speaking, until that time. I'm pretty sure there's other teams out there in 3A that can play with them, maybe even beat them. The reason I posted what I posted is because of how ridiculous some of these posts are and because some of the posters on the 2A site don't know how to read the rules and I needed to have some fun posting some bullonee about Paradise somewhere, who are also 4-0 on the season like the Bulls :p

I have had an itch to rebuild the FNF site this year but just ran out of time with having to get the 2A site ready to go.

Maybe we'll have that site back by next year, just have to see ;)

Play 2 #1 teams in the State, Aledo and Brownwood and play 5A Hebron which has 3000 students compared to our 1000.

And now Mesquite Horn which has about 3000 has well.

Playing schools that are bigger than you and better than you doesn't necessarily make you a good team. You might be improving by playing those better schools, but you could still suck. Also, just because they outnumber you in enrollment doesn't make the other schools you are playing "world beaters". Their sports teams could absolutely suck.

Hebron is 2-1, they beat Colleyville Heritage (3-1) and Mesquite Horn (2-2) *1 or Horn's two losses was the Coppell 13-0. No shame there :)

Far as I know 2005 doesn't have anything to do with 2010. What have they done since? Dallas Carter will have a lot of players going DI, but they wont win anything. So what's your point?
Stephenville just doesn't appear to be very good as in years past. I certainly wouldn't consider them a measuring stick.

Please realize that Brownwood is playing unbelievable football and they are the clear favorite to easily win any game on their schedule and into the playoffs. They have earned it. Another interesting stat, 19 straight scoring posessions for our starting offense.

Poor CS thought they had the horses to just run the ball down Brownwood's throat. It was quite comical. They made a HUGE mistake in talking crap to the players.

Thanks. Right now the offense is hitting on all cylinders and injuries have been few so far this year. I hope we can keep it going. Defense seems to be getting better every game too. Sure has been fun so far!
