Any 3A team results on the state 7 on 7?

I have not heard anything yet, but I am curious to see how the boys did.I am also an avid Bulldog backer.By the way welcome to the board.

Brady from 6AAA and Burnet from 25AAA have made it to the next round. I think they are the only two 3A schools moving on. Congrats and good luck in the next round.

Burnet beat McAllen Memorial 60-32, McKinney 28-21, and Klein 34-28.
Brady beat Forney 37-24 and Katy 36-18. Brady lost to Bay City 28-20 but still moves on to the next round.

I heard that the highly overrated Drew Tate quit the Baytown Lee 7-7 team a few weeks back. He said that his receivers weren't catching the ball and said this was the reason they haven't won any state qualifier tourneys yet. Then the next week the back up Qb comes in and wins the next tourney and qualifies them for the state tournament. The following week Tate comes back and says he wants back on the team and of course gets his wish. The back up of course takes the back seat again to the Poster Boy. I just don't think that is fair to the team or the other QB.

I agree. If you put Phillip Daugherty on that team, I believe he would break 5,000.
This further proves my point that HS player should not be featured on the cover of DCTF.

Any word on how Burnet fared today?

Burnet won 5 games in a row and made it to the final 8. It was a great showing! The kids did great and are looking forward to a great year.

I heard Burnet was the one that knocked out defending champion Baytown Lee and then got massacred by Cinco Ranch the eventual champion.
