Tonight in a key district match Sinton defeated Ingleside 3 - 0 by results of 26-24, 25-15 and 25-23. The points were all hard fought for and well earned. Both teams had enthusiastic support and it was in a great volleyball atmosphere. Anyone that take Ingleside lightly could be in serious trouble because they are good.
Sinton also won the JV match 2 - 1 and the Freshmen match 2 - 0.

Other District 30AAA results besides the Sinton vs Ingleside match were as follows:

Goliad defeated Mathis 3 - 0. Goliad also won the JV match 2 - 0.

Rockport-Fulton defeated Aransas Pass 3 - 0. RF also won the JV match 2 - 0 and the Freshmen match 2-1.

i was able to make it to the Sinton/Ingleside match... it was even closer than the score shows. Ingleside had several very good runs--the 2nd game kinda got away from them, but a very hardfought win for the Lady Pirates.

Ingleside's #2 was amazing--it seemed like every time they had a good play, she was in on it!

Monahans lost to Denver City in 5 games ,their top hitter did not play ,but I'm running out of excuses for our team.This team just doesnt have the feel for our past teams.I hope they can come together. Kind of worried.

#2 is very, very good. Is she a move-in? I don't remember seeing her last year. Claypool can bring it too.
