Any one of these can get multiple responses (sometimes unwanted and unappreciated, and I have been guilty on occasion) from both sides in any thread:

1. Brownwood and Stephenville
2. Celina and Prosper.
3. Bridgeport and Decatur
4. Sweetwater and Snyder

I would say Brownwood, Gilmer or Celina could play anyone and a thread war emerge. Its not as if just one team hates them.

Sweetwater and Snyder are always good but only when both teams are good.

Back in the day when The Wood and The Ville were in the same 4A district, it always got WAY out of hand. We always played for the DC, usually the last game of the year. In most cases we were both Top 10 if not Top 5 teams. It would rage on atleast a week after the game. Good times....

I also remember all the political talk that went on for a few months afterwards that wasn't stopped at all either.

If you take 35 you're going to end up in Denton, Fort Worth, or Dallas. :D If you mean 380, then technically you're going through Bridgeport city limits, but you will have missed the heart of the city. And I repeat, you have SO never lived there! :D :D

I don't remember any board shut down, but I do remember the old political thread. That was UGLY. I haven't seen anything posted here in years that comes close to that.

We changed over to a new board format right after that and even though all the posts are still there, the search engine won't search beyond that change-over date.

It's a pity really...there were some really good threads back then!!
