The Aggie defense has played well, but has been hung out to dry by Jerrod. He has been absolutely awful, and the offensive line has only been a fraction of why. Why Ryan Tannehill has not replaced him yet is beyond me.

Some of those Florida schools other than FSU, Florida and Miami are gettting some great recruits that fall through the cracks. Florida high school football is nearly as good as Texas and they are putting out lots of athletes. Do not underestimate FIU and the other Florida colleges. Texas has played a couple of them the past two to three years and has never been able to totally dominate them.

After some thought about it last night, I realized this: For them to get basically dominated the whole game and still be able to put up 21 points and allow 0 in the fourth, the Aggies have made strides from the Fran years. No quit in this team at all. As for the 20 points they gave up, there was a FG following a fumble, another FG, a 19 yd TD drive following a pick, and a pick six TD. This is not the same Aggie defense as recent years. They will pick up the offense and surprise some teams this year. Time to regroup and prove it.

IMO little to early to say the Aggie D is anything really..yes they shut down FIU, but FIU is not what you would call a offensive juggernaut

Now the pieces appear to be in place for the Aggie D, but it remains to be seen if it will play this good agianst better offensive teams.
