Let's look at them a little closer.

Sealy vs. Wimberley - VERY Possible if not for Region III (2 Top 5 teams)

Liberty Hill vs. Mexia - Possible

Needville vs. Bellville - Needville has trouble stopping the run and Bellville RUNS the football.

West Columbia vs. Bay City - WC very potent offense haven't face a good D. Bay City good D suspect O.

Sinton vs. Robstown - Pickers lose by 30 to a very good 2A Refugio.

Zapata vs. Mathis - Zapata beat Ingleside but loses to 2A George West 20-50. Mathis is rolling on offense.

Brookshire Royal vs. Sweeny - Two very powerful offense. Defenses are suspect in some areas. Could be a high scoring game.

Zapata vs. Mathis - Zapata beat Ingleside but loses to 2A George West 20-50. Mathis is rolling on offense. So who's the inconsistent one, Ingleside or Zapata?

Brookshire Royal vs. Sweeny - Two very powerful offense. Defenses are suspect in some areas. Could be a high scoring game. I like this one as well

2A George West isn't usually that far behind 2A Refugio. I think BR vs. Sweeny. Wimberly/Sealy could qualify for R3.

I have to go with my hometown boys. Although I think that Sealy/Wimberly game is an ealry play-off atmoshphere ( not sure if Wimberly would go d1 ) game. Both games qualify as being great match-ups. Can we have 2???

I'm going to toss Gonzales v Yoakum into the ring. Apaches are 4-0 and this game is always a tussle.

I love having Wimberley every week as the GOTW. but to be honest, as good as a game that this should be....I am a purist in that this game should be eliminated from consideration for Region 4 GOTW because Sealy is Region 3. I believe the GOTW for any Region should be between Region teams. i pick Sinton-Robstown.

Sinton-Robstown went to multiple overtimes last year. It could be a good one.

It's not possible for Wimberley to go D1. We are the 2nd smallest team in the district.
