Has Todd Dodge leaving hurt them more or is it the hiring of Hal Wasson which has hurt them more?

I believe they're fielding a pretty young team this year aren't they? Plus a huge loss of talent from last year ain't helpin.

Coach Wasson's playbook needs to evolve against defenses. SLC almost telegraphs their next play on down and distance. Dodge's philosophy wasn't unique and plenty of good DC's have come up with a defense to counter SLC's O. Wasson has loads of speed so he ought to mix in some veer or wing T. It would add even more playcards to their next team's D workout and make every look more effective because they could keep them guessing.

It's been a myriad of things. The main one being that they simply had an unbelievable run of athletes. It can't last forever. But, their offense hasn't changed any. Just the kids running it and the man calling it.
On that note, Wasson's also a (insert your derogatory term here)

So you think genetics at SLC have somehow taken a step back millions of years in a season or two? All of a sudden a quality reciever just got replaced by the missing link. Even Bigfoot could figure out the spread if he faced it everyweek. It's time to mix it up.

But he couldn't cover it.

If he coached a group of kids that ran 4.4's and 4.5's he could. SLC has speed to burn. Their Trophy Case proves it.
