32,450 give or take a few

Top 6 enrollments in the State - These are approx numbers. I had to do a statistacal chart for a college class once. I think this is about right, heck I cannot remember much from college!
UT - 51,000
A&M - 45,000
UNT - 38,000 (many commuter students)
UTSA - 35,000 (many commuter students)
Tx St - 32,500
Tech - 30,000

The attendance at the Texas State game last week was right at 12,000 I think.

Not sure if Tx St can make the jump to D1 by 2012, still a lot to accomplish, winning will definently help though, future looks bright, I just hope the Alumni support continues to grow and hopefully we supply the effort needed to get us their. The WAC looks like a possibility if they can make an East and West division.

How do you figure UNT as a commuter school when 92% of it's students live within 5 miles of campus??

Also, UT-Arlington has a higher enrollment than Texas State as of this semester and you left out Houston which is right behind UNT..

I'm giving your statistical chart a big fat 'F' for horrible research

Please sir like I said, I am not sure that these number are right, I pulled these off the top of my head, I think UTSA and UNT have approx 20-30% of their students listed as commuter studets, heck I could be wrong, I do think Tx St is at about 15-18%\

Heck I may be way off on this, like I STATED I am not 100% sure of anyone else other than Tx State

Damn I wasn't that far off considering I picked those numbers off the top of my head, I know for a fact that Tech is over 30,000 this year and Tx St is at 32,500 approx

I really think UTSA is around 32,000 - 35,000

Current enrollments for TxSt and UTA prove the Mavs jumped ahead (now that is a commuter school).. UNT is up to 36,118 and that's not counting our UNT-Dallas campus.

An NT Daily story a couple of semesters ago that addressed myths about UNT.. I think they got the number from the registrars office.. My Internet is down the NT Daily site is not iPhone friendly or I would provide a link
