Does your school have a soccer program? How many 3A's would have to play it to have their own class instead of playing with 4A?

Brownwood plays soccer!

I don't know how many schools it would take.

Lorena was an early one. LaVega and Mexia, Robinson. I think China Spring added a program. My son's favorite sport is football, followed by soccer. Plays a pretty mean mid.

We (Lorena) have been playing 4A district with the Waco Midways (boys and girls). Pretty tough with the like. Thank goodness O'Leary at Midway is a great guy. He could trample us at times if he wanted.

Abilene Wylie plays soccer. I've watched the boys a few times but haven't made it to a girls game yet.

Yeah...Cameron has one and its getting real popular. We moved up from 3 to 4 people in attendance per game last year.

UIL would have to officially recognize soccer as a 3A sport, which it does not at this time.

Liberty Hill does not have soccer. :(

Soccer is my son's favorite sport. So, he is reliant on club soccer. Here he is in action:

His team is one of the best in the state.

Oh yeah, he is a pretty decent running back and can consistently kick 45 yard field goals. He decided to not play football this year.

I'd love if Sinton added a soccer program. Robstown and Rockport, both previously 4A schools, have soccer programs. I truly think its just a matter of a couple of years before 3A soccer is born.

Once had a coaching friend tell me that watching a soccer game was as exciting as watching someone move furniture.

Soccer sucks. Banana picker sport. Take it back to those banana picking countries.
