2010 WNBA Championship Updates!

This has been overlooked but there is a best 3 out 5 being played for Women's National Basketball Association 2010 Championship. The final is between the Seatle Storm vs Atlanta Dream and it looks like it is going to be a good close one and maybe last to the fifth game. Seatle won Game one 79 to 77 and leads the series 1 - 0. Game 2 will be Tuesday night. The first two games are in Seatle and the next two in Atlanta and the final one will be in Seatle if needed. Hang on to your hats for some great basketball! Suspense and Excitement Indeed!

These ladies have been playing very well and the games are worth watching. Seatle won game two 87 to 84 to take the lead in the best of 5 by 2 - 0. However these games have been extremely close and could have gone either way and the next two will be in Atlanta if a fourth game is necessary. Since these games are so close the home court advantage may be good enough for Atlanta to win both games and force a deciding 5th game in Seatle. We will see and the 5th game is a strong possibility as close as these teams are playing. Excitement indeed.

Seatle wins game 3 by the close score of 87-84 in Atlanta and are the WNBA champions of 2010. Even though Seatle swept the series 3 - 0 all three games were very great and close and the basketball playing was great. Congratulations for a great series by two great teams. Thus endeth this year's WNBA season.

The Corpus Christi paper didn't mention this game on page 1 of the Sports News Section and instead a small article about this great game and series on page 5 of that section.
