bridgeports 5th grade team has a couple of blue chip and espn u top 150 players compaired to decaturs varsity.

and springtown isnt down. decatur is.

Mama Bull, I think you know as well as a lot of other people from Bridgeport that has seen this years Jrs. play over the years that there are some talented athletes on the team as well as some Srs. Our play calling has killed us in some of these games. Not making excuses because we all know that theres more to winning a game than that, but it sure hasn't helped us any either!

Well, I honestly didn't feel that way last year when we were down 21-0, t-bag, and I know you guys didn't honestly feel that way a few years ago when the Bulls did the same thing. We were both scared to death at the half in those games. :D

They destroyed just every team that was put in front of them and never really struggled in any games... and then Abilene Wylie came along.

Decatur by 21 maybe a little less since i heard their starting QB will most likely miss the game due to injury.

I say this as a mostly impartial fan--there were times tonight when Bridgeport looked brilliant. I don't know that I've ever seen the offense move the ball so effortlessly. Still a few miscues, but very few.

(Okay, I lie--I am a TOTALLY partial fan. I'm a homer. But I still think we looked pretty darned good.)
