Both teams enter (3-0). GP has won recently in the series. Last week GP beat CC Carroll 20-7 while RF beat CC Moody 37-24.

I think that Rockport is a good team, but I feel that GP may be just a little bit too much to handle. It will probably be a lot closer than anyone thinks. My guess is a 10 point difference in GP's favor.

If Rockport wins this game, they will be serious threat in district and playoffs. GP has beaten some very good teams so far this year and i think they will win in a close game 25-21

GP's defense has been solid against some explosive offenses. Wildcats by 21.

I am going to pick Rockport because

1) Everyone else has picked G-P
2) I like their AD and Girls Athletics Coordinator
3) They are playing at home and I would just like to see them win!

I know my scientific methods probably drive you all crazy...making this much more fun. Plus I can handle a few "I told you so" comments, when the time comes.

i picked GP big because that's what i HOPE happens....otherwise it could be a long season for the rest of 30AAA.

You apparently haven"t seen GP play this year have you. GP has plenty of size, much more than Rockport, and GP"s defense is probably the best I"ve seen in the last 10 years. Rockport may give GP a game in the first two qtr"s but GP will wear them down in 2nd half. I really don"t see GP losing till the playoffs, but Vic. East may cause some probems, but I still don"t see them as a threat to GP. Gp"s offense is still coming around and thats a bad thing for 30-4A, because GP has plenty of offensive talent and more to come. Now GP has balanced the team around with no one playing both offense and defense and that will pay dividends
when the playoffs start. GP +17

The fact that RF does not have a passing attack will give GP the advantage. GP was able to control the rushing attacks of Calallen, Carroll and PNG. Close until 4th when RF wears out.

GP by 14.

Rockport line has a few big kids they will matchup with Sinton line when they meet in few weeks. GP line a little under size but thier lb have good size and speed. Should be a good 3rd qtr but i thin GP will pull away late. Rockport can pass some.

Agreed. Penalties are killing us too. We had a huge 40 yard run called back for holding. Defense is playing good. Rockport scored on a short field after a Fishbeck pick. GP picked off the Rockport QB to set up the FG.

I was there at Buc stadium and didn't / don't have anyone playing ball. But a loyal fan always follows his team. Even to the Ice Bowl in SA.

I nearly froze to death watching GP play Westlake at Buc one year...and I can't stand either team.

I was on the side of the stadium with that very frigid wind blowing "right ach ya" with my fiance(at that point). It was colder than crap and colder than that.

It was so cold Denise yelled "Homerun!" when GP scored once.
