I know you guys get tired of us always saying a Brownwood guy but QB Graylon Brown had a carreer night against a team that put him out for a season last year with a broken leg

20 of 33 for 327 yards, zero interceptions and 6 TD's and 37 yards rushing, A stat that does not get reported was he avoided any sacks when the big d line of Stephenville broke into the backfield. He avoided the rush and either made positive yards or threw the ball away when needed. He made some good decisions that really made a difference in the game.

Graylon Brown from Brownwood.

The stats speak for themselves but it was more interesting watching him play. Very confidant and very poised.

You could say he was a beneficiary of Shipley's 4 touchdowns, and I would agree if Shipley had 4 80 yard touchdowns, but that wasn't the case. Graylon marched the field up and down spreading the ball out.

He was very impressive stepping up and out of the pocket and finding the open receivers. He played extremely smart and dodged sacks with a throw away when needed.

Graylon was a leader of this game
