unfortunate momentum blockage for LG as we were marching down the field for another TD right before half as both teams showed great offensive attacks all night long. Necks are fast and showed explosive efforts to get on the board with numerous big plays. LG mixed it up quite well but banked on throwing attack to yield points. The blackout episode before half occurred a few years ago in Giddings-both teams took a break, the lights cycled back up, each team performed brief warmup, then play resumed. Good luck Necks this season-yall have a great ballclub.

It may have interrupted the drive but when it resumed, LG still was able to score. The biggest threat to LG all night was LG, cause we weren't going to stop yall much. The interception inside the ten yard line hurt yall a bunch. If LG could have completed just one or two of those passes when they got behind us, it would have been a whole different ball game.

Yeah, those interceptions hurt but we have a young qb and with those crazy tips? Well, what can you do? Basically we got whipped by the Necks great speed and athleticism and our inability to stop the big running play. Great game, very exciting and undecided until the last series. Good luck to the Necks the rest of the way.

Special teams dominated for the Roughnecks from the first play of the game. The strong leg and athleticism of the kicker is an asset to an already loaded athletic team. IMO the late onside & pooch kicks were designed for WC to recover and continue to drive the ball down the field and "put the nail in the coffin". LG had some late opportunities, but fell short. Stay with it Leps! Good luck to WC, you have a fine team.
