No offense to our Smithville posters, but this isnt a fair fight. The SV boys aint giving up, but they are over matched in every category that I could see. Starters will soon be on the bench.

Good for them. I bet it was their QB...he is the only one who seemed to have the speed to get away with a 75 yd TD.

no doubt the texans where better in this game but me and my friends where discusing a few of the texans play calling and a phontom call that called a 70 yard rush for the tigers to the texans 1 yard line back when it was 21-0 in the 2nd qt. then af that, the texans went for it on 4th and 5 with a screen play to there rb smith with just like 20sec left in the half with i.m.o was a cheap t.d. ,there was a time i thought the tigers gave up in the 3rd but battled in the 4th. smithville broke a number of long plays against the texans, and should of had at least 17pts last night. hats off to the texans tho, very solid team, state champ team??? that maybe be a stretch but a deep run is very likely. beautiful town , realy enjoyed the ride in from san marcos.

Yes, the flag on the long run by the SV QB was unfortunate, but the flag came out about the same time the QB crossed the line of scrimmage. And what is cheap about an 80 yrd. TD screen pass? I am sure the coach had no idea it would break for a TD.

I agree with you that we still are not performing at what I would consider to be Championship form yet. But I do see improvement, so there is hope!
