Ambulance just arrived (finally). He is off to a hospital.

They just called the game with 4 minutes left.

LHPmom or any Liberty Hill people, will you keep us updated if you get an update?

Yes, I will. They live around the corner from me. Another of our friends is going with the Mom to the hospital.

Heck, it took around 30-45 minutes for the ambulance to get there after he went down. I can't imagine the ER being much faster. ;) He was in the huddle after giving/taking 2 pretty good hits and passed out. I haven't heard anything further, so I'm going to remain optimistic that it is just a concussion. And yes, a concussion isn't anything minor, but there's a whole lot worse!

thanks LHPM. That kids was wacking the DBs on 3 straight runs.

Big kid. Weird how he just collapsed. that just scared me as bad as anything ever has.

Not sure what happened with the JV game, but I was very impressed with the Freshman. My son even said that the trash talking was fun and the kids played hard but clean.

Do we really need to bring folding chairs tomorrow?

Folding chairs is kind of a running joke, though the visitors' side is small. ;) Depending on your crowd, there should* be enough seating.

MRI came back good - he didn't have a concussion. They think he might have been dehydrated.
