My apologies folks, I've been a little swamped the past couple of weeks.


Please submit your Week One Top 25 rankings here.

If you do not submit a top 25, you have NO room to gripe once the results are in. Since this is the preseason and folks are still reading, learning, etc, rankings may be posted through 10:00 pm, Tuesday night, September 7, then results will be tabulated and posted Wednesday, September 8, and posted on the homepage. (Click on the home button at the top right, then "State Top 20".)

First place ranking will receive 25 points; twenty-fifth place ranking will receive 1 point. Please try to be realistic in your rankings....homerism is okay if warranted. One set of rankings per poster, please.

Don't be shy - there are no correct or incorrect rankings.

I know that I have ranked Kirbyville much lower than others but I saw them play in the Qtr Finals last year and they would have been no better than 4th in our district (behind Argyle, Prosper, and Celina) and I can't believe that they are that much better this year. There is NO WAY they are a top 10 team.

Don't over rate Commerce. They are no where near the top 25. Their QB is a weapon but that is about all. They will probably finish 3rd in district behind Celina and VA.

I am still on the fence about them, but from what I am hearing that QB is a game changer on both sides of the ball. They are certainly a team to keep an eye on... I will see what they do the next couple of weeks.

We scrimmaged them (shortened by lightening) and he is good but not THAT good. Like I said, 3rd in district.
