Sinton Pirates @ Rio Hondo Bobcats

Sinton travels to Rio Hondo this Friday. I haven't caught a Pirate game yet, but I have seen Rio Hondo. From what I've seen on SFIA's video, I believe Pirates are both bigger and faster than the Bobcats.

My prediction:

And for those interested in this kind of thing, it is Band Parent Night on Friday. The Bobcat band is something to behold. These guys are really good and quite frankly put our band to shame.

Sinton didnt air it out much against Hondo as they ran the ball quite a few times, might be trend this year but yea i think Sinton is bigger and faster than Rio Hondo as they were in their playoff meeting and Rio Hondo almost came back to tie that game. Think they have been missing their starting qb for the 1st two games and could be back for this one.

From the video link that SFIA posted on the Hondo vs Sinton thread, it looks like Sinton has some pretty big boys. I think Sinton is going to come out with the W.

Does Sinton have a lot of Seniors on the team this year, or are you guys relatively young like the Mustangs?

few years ago before the lyford playoff game we stopped in raymondville and ate at an awesome place! I dont remember what it was called but it was local and the food was great! If anyone else knows what the place was called maybe they can help me out? Raymondville is not very big so you should be able to find it anyways

OH and there should be a nice framed article from when we pounded lyford hanging on the wall that the owner of the restaurant requested from coach allen

I was right and they are both along Hwy 186. Coming from South Hwy 77 you take the Hwy 186 exit and turn left on Hwy 186 and you will very shortly get to them. Enjoy!

if we get there early enough we will eat at Boots Bar and Grill. I can eat at DQ or Whataburger in Sinton..... When traveling I try and stay away from "Chain" places and try and find the "Mom and Pop" type places to eat.

Defense looked great. I don't think Carson had much time to set up and pass. Looked better rolling out, but also had to rush a few of those passes. The Freshman RB broke another long run and the officials said he fumbled it at the end when in fact he looked to be down.

Oh and if you are ever back down that way the Boot Co Bar and Grill was fantastic
