After an impressive first showing by the Mustangs in their opener against TM, they now get a long road trip to Zapata. Zapata played Ingleside in the first round of the playoffs last year so we know they are bringing some experience to the table.

Anyone have info on how many returning players they have? Zapata beat Westlaco East 55-22 and then lost to Roma 26-0.


Thoughts?.... Predictions?

If Zapata doesn't have a passing game they are in trouble. Ingleside's defense was very good against Tuloso-Midway. Small but very quick.

The Hawks don't have a great passing attack but they do have an impressive running game. Should be a great game!

Zapata took complete control in the second half. Mustangs O kept getting penalties. It looked ugly.... yuuck.

Thanks for everyone here that listened in to my brother and I call the game. Literally was asked to do it right before warm-ups started.

It was a great game by both teams and the Hawks finally exacted some revenge on the Mustangs.

Thanks for bringing that webcast to the fans of both teams that were not able to be there. I am sure that Ingleside will regroup and take advantage of this loss to fix the problems that were apparent in the game.
