Anybody out there think there is a better set of starting receivers than Bridgeport has right now? Not bragging---just asking---since the Bulls have had a lot of success early passing. I have been really impressed with the hands, and especially the RAC, of the Bulls receivers in the first two weeks of the season. We did drop a couple against Burk last night, however.

Sinton has pretty good receivers that know how to find the open spots and couple of deep threats. dont know how they rank with the rest of the state but they're pretty good.

Navasota is solid. Maybe not the best, but led by two seniors that will not give up on any ball.

La Grange has one of the best WR's in 3A Brandon Wilkerson also last night 7 different receivers had at least 1 catch. So far in 2 games the receivers have 34 receptions in 63 attempts, not bad with plenty room to improve.

Longoria caught a 30 yard pass last week against Gville.

How did Gville do this week?

No indivdual stats yet, Nate, but our QB, Henson, threw 5 TD's for 405yds against Burk last night, and had 1 60yd TD called back.

We had 2 WRs go over 100 yards and a TD. But they only played 2 Qtrs... Lol QB went over 300 yards passing... 2 Qtrs

It's not the Brownwood people saying it's all about Shipley. It's everybody else. I've begged opposing teams to double him. Chastain, McShan, Johnson, and Ellis will eat your lunch. Chastain is the leading receiver on the team. I know we have the best receiver in Shipley hands down. I believe we have the best receiving corp as well.
