No punts for Celina. I think over 600 yards of offense. Prestonwood offense is the real deal I bet they had 400 yes passing. They Re much better than the Nolan team we scrimmaged.

A couple of things. Celina d is designed to put massive pressure the qb. Not so much tonight. Will be better when tanner returns. Prestonwood put up 500 yes last week and they have an awesome passing game. The best news is that the offense seems unstoppable. 1200+ yards in 2 games.

Well the experts say defense win championships but if the offense scores more than the opponent it still equates to a win.

That was one of the best spread teams I have seen. After watching Prestonwood tonight I now know they would be a top 10 team in 3a they are freaking good.

Don't think you were at the game so don't come over here starting crap you do that enough on the Brownwood threads.

I underestimated our offense. I had this game pegged at 42-35 Celina. One defensive touchdown and the O was two TD's better than I thought. The only time they were stopped were the 2 interceptions and 1 was not the QB but the Jose from the Wildcat.

Celina had 555 yards with 217 in the air. That is the most balance that I can remember (4 years or so).

Prestonwood showed why they won state in TAPPS last year they have a serious passing attack. They had 499 of offense with 400 in the air. I think most at Prestonwood are ok with the Jr. backup! RB is real quick and #5 catches everything. I am not sure why people think TAPPS schools are not competitive at the top of 3A. They have 16 kids over 200 lbs and plenty of talent to play with anyone.

They have the best pure passing game that Celina has played since I have been watching.

I haven't looked at Presonwood's schedule, but I don't believe they will taste defeat much this year!

There is not a team in 3a that will pass like Prestonwood either. I would say they threw the ball 85% of the time, I have yet to see a team throw that much.

This team is already showing much better balance than last year's, and the best play calling I've seen yet. Although I questioned going for it on 4th and five at PCA 15 yd line - I thought it was a good opportunity to test Varga and FG team - the result was a TD pass.

Stephenson showed what he's capable of last night... Celina will have a scary good passing game within a few weeks, they have so many options there.

Running game continues to rack up the yards and a lot of the credit goes to the line obviously. Celina backs aren't big, nor are they blazing, they're hitting the gaps quickly, the holes are there and they're getting those extra yards after initial contact that I didn't see them getting last year.

Looking forward to PP next week, five more weeks to work on things before district...

This is the best oline I have seen at Celina in the last few years. Prestonwood would have throttled us last year. The Celina offense is a beast this year for sure. The defense is good, but they need to polish up in the secondar, but anytime you play against a team that throws as much as they did last night your gonna give up lots of yards and scores. They remind me of the Texas Tech offense with the formations and pass first approach. That was a good learning tool for the defense.

Celina oline is a beast. Agile and strong. Good size but not so big they cant move well--any one of them can get to most places on the field and deliver the goods. Coaches have to be excited with this group.

So, what happens when Roos returns? What, if any, dominoes fall?

That's a good question and I'm glad I don't have to make it. The oline has play awsome with the group that's in place. The only place I could see the change is at left guard. I could see moving Donald over on the d sides and rotating since he is a good dlineman and moving Roos to left guard, but then you Price who has done a great job replacing Donald at left guard. I don't know the answers, but it's a good problem to have as long as the egos don't show up.
