The teams in Region IV this year are very weak. I don't think any of these teams should be ranked higher than about 100. I would not even bother to see a region IV game this year.

Wow!
Didn't ESPN just televise a matchup with two of the highest ranked RBs in the country Saturday night from San Antonio Schools?

Lets not forget Dennis Smith in Wimberley. But since we were in Region 1 last year, I guess that doesnt count.
I've heard this "region 4 can't compete" before...just before winning the state championship. I would agree that the depth of R4 is not like that of the other regions..but there are several teams (at least a couple in 3A) that will hold their own with any other team. Will one of these teams win it all? Could happen...we'll see. But to say none of them are good is foolish.

Ya'll are doing a fair job of defending the very poor football played in reg. IV. Rember just cause you line up on the field does not make you good.

The top teams in Region 4 can compete...I do agree that after the top few teams the drop off is fast
