17-14 fourth ...two ints late......very deep in Pampa territory was the difference maker.

Was Argyle Christian that good or did Pilot Point have a lot of turn overs? What was the final score? Iowa Park team and fans are fired up this being the 1st home game under Coach Ponder. The home side will be packed. PP better bring the whole town. Good luck, I personally don't know what to think about this one. PP fans give me some feedback.

If Pilot Point loses this game they are gonna have a long year I'm afraid. Next week Pilot Point has Celina in Celina so it's not gonna get any easier.

LC is well coached and a very good Private program. 2009 State Finalst

The 4 first half turnovers and 27 net points off those was a huge blow.... one most teams would not recover from IMO. The score was 14-10 PP after the first turnover at the PP 18, and then the 20 point run off three more. PP managed 450 yards total Offense and 24 first downs, they can move the ball. Lots of improvement to be done on both sides of the ball. Pilot Point will only get better and I'm very glad its only week 1.

Do you think the Hawks would have beat Pampa if they gave them 27 first half points on turnovers.

Should be a great game this Friday I look forward to the drive.

Turnovers are a part of the game. The real question was the turnover issue because of slop on PP or because of the intensity level of the defense. Neither is good. Slop is mental laziness and intensity against means a little weak minded. But of the two I would prefer slop. That can be corrected. Argyle LC is not a large team and their defense while above average is not that good this year.
I think the game would have been tight without the turnovers with maybe PP pulling out the win. But in a real sense it is a typical first game of the season. Not all the parts are clicking yet for anybody.
