I think this will be a dog fight personally. Prestonwood would be in the top 10 in 3a they are very good with alot of size and speed.
Celina 35
Pwood 17

Did Prestonwood's QB leave Friday Night's game with an air cast?

Never heard of Prestonwood, but I don't follow private schools. Celina wins this one!

i do think this will be a good game- the private schools in North Texas are always underrated, and there are almost always some great ones that could do very well at the 3A level. This year already has had one upset that way, with Argyle Liberty Christian (a decent team for the last fifteen years, and sometimes a private state champion) putting it to Pilot Point in Pilot Point. PP, mind you, was a dominant 2A state champion last year

really? They re not even picked to win their tapps district....so i guess nolan catholic and trinity christian would also be top ten in 3A...............i wonder which three teams these privates would replace....................Celina wins in a rout.

You dang right they would be all three teams played in the state championship last year.

Prestonwood beat Liberty Christian 35-17 in last year's TAPPS Division II championship and both are up to Division I this year.

Prestonwood is a Who's Who of former athletes' and coaches' sons (one of their starting guards is June Jones Jr.).

one of the sons of a former basketball coaches from my high school attended PCA....and was a stud pitcher there.

I don't doubt their good.....i know privates play good ball....but I think Celina takes this one.

a lie or just very uneducated/miss informed....:D

QB Tilley 1,800 yards passing 1,200 rushing 35 tds

RB Johnson - 2985 rushing 600 rec. 47 tds.

Team total 6,472 Yards..

I'll give you a two man team with both gone though....:p

I'll compromise, 1 1/2 person team, Johnson would of been a stud regardless who was QB, Tilly was better because of Johnson...lol

LOL..and to watch the 3-D1's clicking on the offensive line making it all work has to be good for another 1/2 person.:)

Yeah they were a good squad last year.
I heard their qb was hurt friday. That may complicate matters for them somewhat.
