The Bulldogs come to La Grange off a 7-6 win against Columbus. The Leps gained their first win under a new coaching staff in their opener against Lockhart 16-6. The Lep defense is solid and if the offense can develop their poise and rhythm this could be a very competitive team. I'll take the Leps by 14.

Yoakum came in to La Grange ready to play last season, so I would expect the same this year. With another week for the offense to come together and the D to continue their dominance , I feel a victory is in sight. Go Leps.

columbus dominated the game but shot them selves in the foot over and over again if lg dont make mistakes blow out

I don't see a blow out. The Lep offense has not gelled yet and anything can happen. In 2004 the Leps had a stud defense and an anemic offense and went 2-8 yet was in almost every game until the middle of the 4th quarter(Giddings and Cameron Yoe were exceptions winning going away) when the d tired and the opponents pulled away. Unless the offense steps up with authority and starts raking up the points(which with the talent they have they should) then no blow outs only tight games. I am optimistic but realize that a lot can happen and the Leps need to get much better on offense if they want to make the grade in D23. The offense scored only 9 points in the game against Lockhart and left at least 14 points on the field due to unnecessary penalties. The game ball goes to the D.

La Grange will be favored in this one by a couple TDs, but I like the Bulldogs in an upset, 20-14. I just gotta feeling about this one. GO DOGS!

i say La Grange but i dont kno how the game is gonna play out, if Yoakum comes to actually play football then it will be a close game but also if La Grange's offense mans up and scores with their defense they can control the game. in all La Grange
