Region IV GOTW Week 1

I don't know what ya'll think but until we get a Region 4 Editor we ought to vote for Game of the Week. So who's it gonna be for the first week in September?

With Cuero in the GOTW last week. Sinton and Hondo IMO deserve the Region IV GOTW. The Poll is extremely close.

If a game deserves to be game of the week, it should be. Don't focus on if one of the teams was involved in GOTW the prior week, use your best judgement. That said, I voted for Sinton/Hondo too.

Sinton-Hondo coulld be as wild a game as Cuero- Wimberly last week.

Was Hondo a playoff team last year? Are they a lot better this year?

I think Yoakum-La Grange should be considered as well. La Grange is defending region champ and Yoakum went two rounds deep after knocking off La Vernia in first round.

Cuero/ Liberty Hill sounds like a good game, but with the Gobblers giving up 49 vs Wimberley and not defending very well against the run, LH might just control that game.
