Quick question. It may have just been me, but when I watched the highlights of the Rockdale game from last night their jerseys looked purple and it looked like they had an A on their helmets.

Actually it was KBTX, which is their sister station here in Bryan-College Station, so I am sure it was the same highlights.

Rockdale will beat salado by atleast 30, but if they keep playing like the did on Friday they won't win a district game, besides smithville.

I know you really cant judge much against a team like that, but what seemed to be some of the problems you saw?

I know it's the first game and all, poor execution they fumble the quarterback center exchange like 5 times in the first half, alot of mental mistakes, (blocks in the back), they can't pass the ball at all, I know there a running team primarily, but good teams will shut down the run and make them pass.

Mmm yeah I see. Everyone knew that the huge question for Rockdale would be the QB. Who got the majority of the playing time? How did the arm look?

The brinkley kid, they never threw a deep ball while I was there, I left at half, He's not accurate at all

Dixon is one of the RB's and he plays a little QB here and there, The move in is Carpenter he starts at LB and TE he was on the recieving end of one of the TD's. He is the #2 QB. It looked to me like once they knew they were alot better than the Austin team they got really sloppy. They are gonna have to play better from here on out.

We cant help where we are in our district. We tried to schedule a pretty decent pre-district imo:

1. Connally
2. La Vega(top 20 team imo 3a)
3. Rockdale(BOTB)
4. Navasota(top 20 team 3a)

As far as district goes you will have Marlin(looks to be greatly improved but still needs some work) and McGregor. And I admit teams such as Florence, Academy, Hearne, and Troy appear they will be down.
