The soph. will do fine. I see Jr. FS playing more RB tonight and getting more carries. He is a STUD. QB will have to have the game of his life or they will have to resort to the soph QB unless he played in the JV game last night.

Aledo losing some up front... I would think they gained some back as well. Stephenville lost some up front on the D-line. I see Gray getting lose quite a bit more than last years match up. To me, that's a wash. It's going to come down to how the QB's perform.

You sure? I thought Stephenville returned pretty much the entire D Line. I think your right, I think its going to be close but Stephenville will win this one unless they have some quirky things happen like they did last year.

The Jackets all the way boys!

Sville returns 8 on defense. They replaced one LB with a kid that started his soph year but tore his ACL last year in the 1st game against Aledo. The other two graduation losses were at DE. The new DEs will need to play good tonight as the Bearcats like to run the stretch play.

The Jackets return 8 on offense. They are replacing WR, TE, and RB/Slot. We have very good and big OL this year to go along with Myles. Mr. Myles broke several single season rushing records last year for Sville in 12 games. The passing game did struggle in the scrimmage last week against Granbury. The QB Washington went 1-9 in the first set of plays then 4-4 in the 2nd set with a TD, and then 3-6 in the simulated qtr. The passing game will definitely need to improve from that scrimmage.

I think the Sville offense will have an advantage over the Bearcat D. In last years playoff loss the Jackets out gained Aledo by nearly 200 yards. The difference is Aledo scored TDs on their redzone opportunities when we kicked FGs. Aledo lost 3 all-state players from that defense with only return 1 starter upfront.

I look for the Jackets to rack up the yards on the ground and own the TOP as they fight for a 7 point victory

Well, when was the last time Stephenville didn't score a touchdown in a game? WOW! Aledo's D didn't really look that impressive. Stephenville's O-line is beefy, but slow. Any team with a decent D-line will have success penetrating. The Jackets had opportunities, couldn't convert. Couldn't contain the blitz. Good luck next week against Wylie!

True. 2 yrs. This was a little different. QB went out of game with concussion in2008. No injuries in this one.
