Gilmer's offense looks decent, defense looks pretty soft.

LED, I agree, Judging by the 1st half of this game, Luke needs to be QB.

I think it's a combanation of both, Atlanta is not that great and Gilmer is good. Kinda sounds like Atlanta might be intimidated. Will see how the second half goes.

Have only had about 16 offensive plays. Maybe the starters are playing , what needs to be understood is these players need experience. We are not talkin about an experenced team, they need reps to improve

Atlanta has fumbled twice in the first half both leading to scores in Atlantas end of the field. Sounds like Atlanta is not good and Gilmer does what good teams do capitalize on mistakes.

Here are my unbiased observations on tonights game:

1. Luke Turner is the best QB.
2. Gilmer skill positions look good and will only get better.
3. The Gilmer defensive line is very small (biggest concern).
4. The best player on the field was the Atlanta RB (#9 Webster).
5. Traylor is a great coach.

The ag slunked off last night...he had seen enough. Webster is the real deal. I think he had 300+ yards. The Bucs just played their game...better than I thought they would be at this point. Gus the Mini Bus had well over 300. We now set our sights on next Friday & welcome the Tatum Eagles to Buckeye Stadium for their annual mauling. Good game Rabbits.

Atlanta is gonna be pretty good next year. I agree with you, the Gilmer offense looked pretty good but the defense has a way to go. The D Line looked a little light in the britches. That being said, Gilmer is a pretty solid team this year overall.

Altanta was better than you think. They have two outstanding soph RB's and one JR RB. Line on both sides of the ball has some potential. If Atlanta finds a QB next year, watch out!

Gilmer on O was great... Atlanta on D made them look greater.

Atlanta had an undersized secondary on the RT side and the Buckeyes took advantage of it. The Atl D line looked like they had never seen a screen before and continually pursued the QB with 4-5 kids and poof tunnel screen with 5 blockers in front. Atlanta is still using the same run defense as last year counting on the endzone as their go to defender. I do not understand how a team that used to pride itself on D has fallen so far.

Atlanta had some huge gains on runs but were unable to sustain drives. They were unable to establish a pass attack looked like receivers were there but QB just couldn't hit them. This really sealed the Rabbs fate.

Gilmer D line is undersized, if they meet a team with a balanced attack they could be in some trouble. This could be a year of the Buckeyes having to score 50+ to pull out wins and they just might be able to do it...

These next 3 games are gonnalet us see how good Gilmer is.

You guys (LE Dad and you) need to come to Lindale tonight. I know we are picked to lose but what's new. Maybe we can prove them wrong. Our new Coach has made such a difference in our team. May not be enough to win a lot but just the attitude and unity are so good to see. They've got each others back and really seem to enjoy the game now. Some say "it's nice to have a coach that knows what he's talking about and can actually show you himself". In other words...he can physically get in there and do it with them. He also uses positive reinforcement. Something we never knew fron our old staff. Everything was yelling and "butt chewing".
Anyway we're happy to have Poe and
he brings good things here for the future.
Would love to see you guys.
