Rocket's Rules of Downlow Smack Talk. Volume 1

1. Talk as much smack as you want leading up to the season or the game. It's all in fun and nobody really knows what's going to happen. Every season your team is poised to win a state championship. If your team is #1, really lay it on thick.

2. Attend the M&G's. Every fan on here is a lot of fun to hang with. We all love our teams and our 3A Football. I haven't met a jerk yet in real life that posts on here. Sweetwater Red reminded me of a serial killer, but he was harmless.

3. If your team wins or loses, treat the other team with dignity. Congratulate them and wish them well the rest of the way. The game is over and done. The smack talk ends when the game ends. If the team you are playing that week is a rival or you are 3 rounds deep in the playoffs, then all bets are off. Excuses can be used to justify the loss. This usually makes people mad, but I could really careless. you can always pick a team or 2 that you just don't like and constantly post crap about them. This is also fun.

4. Go after the big dogs. The Whole 3A Class, Celina, Abilene Wylie, Gilmer, and so on. People always have a "how dare you?" mentality when you do this. Like they are royalty and you are committing blasphemy. This really makes me laugh.

5. Don't be a butt slapper. "Hey good job! Yippee! We are all winners!" LOL This is boring and really doesn't provide any entertainment. It actually makes me yawn. Mix in a theory or 2 on why a team does well every year and discount their accomplishments. This is so much fun.

6. Remember that you are just posting your opinion. Some people will care and some people won't. If you start threads that reach 500 replies because you keep posting your opinion over and over again, then you have arrived. People have proven that they care about your opinion and you now have free reign to jack with them. Have fun.

7. If you are on this site a lot and have never contributed any money. Do it. It is a great form of entertainment and somebody has to pay. Nothing is free.

Don't forget that you might get people so pi$$ed at you they might want to punch you in the face. Just buy them a beer and understand that less than one half of one percentage of teams will actually win state. But at the end of the day we our all still Texans. Thank God for that, right?

REMEMBER: To talk smack is a God given right of all people--BUT, be prepared to accept the return smack if you are proven wrong because of the other rule:
