Everyone in Gonzales is excited to have Coach Ricky Lock back. The kids really like him. He's already talked some of our better athletes into playing football again. Remember, Coach Lock had the Apaches in the Regional Finals just three seasons ago. The offense looked sharp in both of the scrimmages. The defense is coming along.

Saw the tribe play in 09.... They were not very good... Something tells me they will be much improved in 2010....

Last year Miller had a kid (#4) that was ridiculously fast! I think he was a junior. :thinking: Anyway...good luck :D

I don't think they will be around long. CCISD is contemplating new high schools and I can see Miller being closed down. It is a very old school and has a lot of problems.

(In my best BPhil C impersonation) FYI, Miller was the last CCISD HS to play for a football state championship - a mere 47 years ago! Ray & Miller are the only CCISD HS's to play and win football state championships ('59 & '60).
