How many of your alumni are serving?

I saw on Sinton ISD's district website that they have an alumni in the military section where they have posted the names and pictures. I was somewhat surprized to find in a town of only 5500 population, Sinton currently shows 75 alumni on active duty in the military. Just sort of wondered how that compares.

I don't think Burnet can compare to the number Sinton has serving, but the local papers have been running articles and lists for the last three weeks. The number has got to be somewhere between 40 and 50.

I recently saw a point of origin map showing the area where the most of our U.S. military service personel call home. The deep south and Texas in particular have a far greater percentage of people serving than the rest of the country.
