Loboes in a very close one. Owens teams have been very good in openers my pick 28-21. But Snyder is experienced and very good hopefully there opener losing streak continues but a great test for both teams early, both will have great seasons.

I think Monahans will be leading at halftime and Snyder pulls it out to win by 7-10 points.

There's only two. The Hut and the Inn. They're on the west side of College Ave. about a block or block and a 1/2 south of the 37th St. & College intersection. Ya'll have fun and don't let Hop get you in any trouble.

Nahh. those sweetwater folks would like Juans pizza emporium. Just come in to town from SW, take the exit by Rip Griffens, then take East highway toward square. turn Right at the first light you see ( Avenue E ) and head north over the RR tracks. then take the third right( 20th St) you will see two dear yard statues. go one block and turn Lt ( on Coleman St). Its two doors down on the Rt. Not far from the Snyder ISD transportation dept... Happy eating!!!:thumbsup:

How is the parking over there in Snyder. With google earth I see little parking areas North and South of the stadium. Is it like Sweetwater where parking is in front of peoples houses?

Ya parking is horrible. The best place for yall would be the parking lot beside the gym and in front of the high school. But it is pretty limited even for the home side.

There is actually tons of parking on the west side at Mustang Bowl. But since thats the home side, most visitors just never get around there to see it. In Snyder, I always park in one of the church parking lots thats only a block or two to the north of the stadium. They're always pretty easy to get out of after the game also.

actually there appears to be a lot of real good 0-1 teams in the state right now. Lots of big dogs fell in week 0. Way more than I can remember in previous years.

A dissapointing loss for the Tigers. Got down big early and couldn't ever catch up. Defense is going to have to step up and stop the run. It'll be interesting to see the time of possession in this one. Probably 3:1 in favor of Monahans. It seems like Monahans would get 3-5+ yards every time they ran the ball. Lots to learn and improve on from this game....for both teams.

On a positive note - after the first quarter - the Tiger offense performed as I expected. I hope XM is okay and able to come back.

Yeah, #8 RB was picking up nice gains not to mention the back
side screens and short passes in
the flat. It's real easy to
move the chains when you're
facing 2nd and 2 or 3 most of the night.
