Brownwood is on a mission this year and this will be win number 1. I think they are athletically ready and that will be enough this week. Brownwood is primed to go to the finals, we will see after week 10 if they have the horses still hitched to the bandwagon and pulling together.

Beast is right. I can see this being a close game. We may very well have a big head coming in to this game... having a #1 ranking in the AP and winning the 7 on 7 title.... Gatesville is no slouch, 7-4 last year and have 13 starters back including most their skill players.

I cant wait to see what Graylon can do at QB. Last year we did not see enough of him to get a feel for what kind of QB he can be. Also in the first couple of games I found myself comparing him to Brownwoods last 10-12 years of QB's (Freeman brothers, Jarret Lee and Casey Pachall. Those boys were all D1 qb's and thats a tough road to follow.

I have my hopes up that Graylon proves he can be his own man and lead this team to a whole bunch of W's!

Yeah, because Brownwood and winning aren't 2 words that have never really gone together... LOL We win. Yeah there is a down year here and there, but overall, Brownwood is always a team that is respected and feared. Even in 2008, we were respected and feared, just couldn't get the defense going.
