Let's get it started! Thoughts on the Game?

I see sealy getting settled, getting the new kinks worked out and getting the new starters settled down and coming off with not a huge win spread wise but an easy win

Won't be much of a game. Sealy by 35.

Sealy by as much as they want to beat them by. Kashmere may not even have 11 players. If TJ were still coaching, Sealy would win by 100.

NO WAY... its the first game of the season.. new starters getting settled in, Sealy does not have to win by 35... they may and probably should but if it is not that much in no way will it be counted as a dissappointment

This Austin County football fan thinks the #9 AP ranked team and #3 Old Coach ranked, should beat Kashmere by 35 and will be dissappointed if they do not.

Kashmere should forfeit. 1-0 is much better than the 50 Sealy is gonna lay on them.

I'm considering going to this game. Kashmere is picked third in their district, but sounds like the Sealy folks think it should be a cakewalk. I'm not so sure it will be a total runaway, but maybe not worth a trip? My other choices are Giddings/Burnet (1 1/2 hour drive) or Coldspring/Kirbyville, about 1/2 hour away.

The game will be carried by www.sealysports.com. Back in the booth is TJ Mills, Brad Burtschell, Mark Faldyn and Rick Bauman.

If Kashmere is as bad as everyone is saying why would Sealy even scedule this team?

Sealy wants to see if they can beat them worse than when they beat Newton 82-6. Plus, it looks good that they pounded a 4a team.

actually its because very little teams will play sealy pre-season... if you think its a bad thing, ask your coach why they declined the offer to play because sealy tried to get the best comp. the could, the got teams the only team with any balls to play sealy pre-season is needville

imho i dont not think sealy will be as good as they were last year losing leadership and skill of miller, downeys, jaminson, traham, and some OL. they will still be darn good but dont see the same success as last year. whats yalls takes?

they did lose very good players who held huge leadership rolls but there team is full of young leaders too, Gabe Hamner and Cody Barrett are big leaders who will be back on on the O and Cass Mitchell, Felipe Mendoza, and Mike Chatman or big leaders back on the D. The easier district will help the tigers this year and they should have a great year... it will be heard to duplicate the 11-0 run the tigers had last year but it can be done

Does Sealy have anyone playing with a tracking device on the ankle this year? Back in the days when they had a few of those guys, they were really, really, really good.

I have seen this game listed as being played at Delmar Stadium and also at Dyer stadium. I realize the two stadiums actually share a parking lot, however Delmar is the normal home field for Kashmere. Anyone know for sure which stadium?

Maybe this happen in the Mill's era, but don't associate this stuff with Coach Mitchell and his staff. Respect your arch-rivals, a lot of their fans supported Bellville during their playoff games and vise-versa. The last time I looked, both teams were in Austin County.
