That Nassar dude is scary. He is a great athlete and at 7 on 7 in Brownwood he had a full beard that would take me two years to grow as thick as his.

I agree. Wylie is always dangerous, even if Coach Sandifer "has nothing to work with."

I look for Abilene Wylie to go deep, if not even win the entire Class AAA big school championship. Couple that with the Abilene Eagles projected as going as far as well, and you can say Abilene Texas might be a great place to be if you are a high school football fan in Texas

Neither team will impress on offense but the Lep defense will make the difference.

Cuero vs Wimberley will be a great test for both teams. Look for the Gobblers to come out on top of this tough contest. And..

As per the Cuero Record
Cuero's season opener against Wimberley just got bigger.

Fox Sports Southwest has selected the Aug. 27 game at Gobbler Stadium to be the site of its Zero Week "High School Road Tour."

There will be six tents set up with video monitors showing football highlights. There will be games for all ages like football toss, putting greens, bean bag toss, etc. There will be a face-painting tent and free T-shirts handed out.

Did Giddings put it on Wimberley during their scrimmage? We know Cuero is good but it has been a while since we have heard anything out of Wimberley. Battle of the the RB's but Cuero team too tough. JMO.

Yes Bobcat04...Giddings dominated us with relative ease. Lots of reasons and excuses for it, if any of those things mattered, which they dont. If we play anywhere near that level against Cuero...in their house...we will get smashed.

I think its a tall order for the Texans to beat Cuero this Friday with all thats been going on here lately...but it just might happen. If we do win, it will be a squeaker. I'll be there!

You Ingleside and Sinton types get a carpool together and come on up to Cuero for the Fox SSW Game of the Week. We'll be trying to ward of those Wimberley Texans! :D
