How many 3A football teams two platoon?

Liberty Hill does it for the most part. We every once in a while have one kid from defense play a few select plays on offense (mostly when a running back goes down to injury) but we two platoon. We look to be doing it again. So who else does this at the 3a level?

Celina does it as a matter of course. Maybe once it gets cooler, they'll play a proven stud like Romero both ways.

Wylie always has a few starters that play on both sides, but I would say there are about 7-8 guys that normally only play offense or defense. This year there could be more two platooning since the overall number of players is down a bit..

LE alternates so many kids in and out there is really not many 2 way starters. There maybe an RB or WR that gets a few snaps at DB and vice versa.

Gilmer has had two platoons up until this season.

I understand it will NOT be possible, though, this year. The Buckeyes lack depth, which is usually not the case. I just hope everyone stays healthy.

Normally, WOS has several going both ways. Even lineman, this year they appear to have an abundance of lineman. There are only 1 maybe 2 DB's that will also play WR. The line on both sides has much more depth this year as not only are they not going both ways. But they do not have to play the whole time whether offense or defense as they are subbing in frequently.

So I guess we will be 2 platooning with the exception of a couple WR/DB.
