How does the UIL handle athletic participation in magnet schools if they are allowed to draw students from a wide area? Or, do magnet schools not participate in athletics?

im pretty sure they can...........magnets that come to mind.....Bellaire in Houston, Skyline in Dallas, Dunbar in Ft. Worth and Lee in San Antonio.

if I remember right back when I was in school Skyline had this incredible enrollment...but only kids from the drawn attendence zone could participate.....that was a long time ago.

Corpus Christi Moody has used it to gather the best baseball talent in CC. Which is quite good.

Magnet schools are everywhere. Skyline and Lincoln are two magnets in Dallas ISD....they draw kids from all across the district
