True Freshman Flashes Speed, Grasp of Offense
RUIDOSO -- Just because they've established their training camp here doesn't mean that the Lobos are done moving.
True freshman quarterback Stump Godfrey is No. 3 with a bullet on the "imaginary" depth chart after stringing together some strong practices that began in Albuquerque on Monday.
Near the end of practice Monday, he tucked the ball on a quarterback draw, stumbled past the line of scrimmage and still ran untouched some 50 yards for a touchdown.

I envy Stump getting to spend August at 6,900 feet above sea level.

I went to High School there. Cool temps but thin air makes conditioning tough!

The best (In my opinion, my favorite) QB in 3A of the 2000s so far.

I know when I lived in Utah it was hard for me to play basketball for very long because I would be winded faster and couldn't breath that thin air.
Not that it took me long to become winded anyways.

Stump is going to do great things in UNM.
Best 3a qb I've seen since Case Keenum. He was the difference in the Cuero game last year

I hope does extremely well, showing those DI schools who overlooked him what he can do! My brother is a Lobo fan, I told him they were getting a star.
