Now that football season is just around the corner. The one thing that's great attending football games is the sounds of your band that do support your team with music or chants that spark spirit and encourage our players to score a touchdown. So which band in your district is the top dog. Of course like the Sinton Pirates that are good in almost every sport, in academics and a TEA Recognized school district. The Sinton Pirate band ranks as one of the best with a tradition of attending Area competition for more than 20 years since the mid 80's. But still searching for their first trip to state. This year's band has 150 members with 14 color guard members:clap:

GOOD LUCK PIRATE BAND!

C.H Yoe High School Marching Band:

Overall the best band in D24 last year and will be this year in 2a D1 D12. The expectations for the band are the same as basically a lot of the other programs this year....they are going to win it all. The band will have a trip to Washington D.C. this year.

Well I am a homer (oldest daughter is an officer in the band), so you guessed it the Mighty Maroon Band from Brownwood is tops in 5-3A. Not one of the biggest bands around but they are entertaning and have won numerous awards the passed few years.

In our district (14) not only does Canton have the best band in the district but probably the state. Best I've seen anyway. At least their good at something  As long as we win the game again this year I don't care who wins halftime. Although about 3 yrs. ago we won halftime when a student streaker ran in grabbed a flag and weaved in and out of the Canton band during the halftime show. Kid was tackled by a Canton band parent. At the same game in Canton the Van students reassembled a fake Christmas tree and held it up during Canton's school song (O Christmas Tree). Canton vs. Van is a great rivalry game.

Our band is outstanding and has had several State Qualifying years but Argyle is the best. In fact, they are the best in the state- they won state year before last (last state year for 3A).

Yes, I am sure they are and with 4A numbers to boot.
I guess some of the LL kids were in the Allen band in the past. I don't know how good the Allen band really is but I know how BIG they are!

Without a doubt, the Pure Gold Band. Not only are they awesome, they are also loud enough to distract a certain coach 3(?) years running! go Wylie!

I wouldn't ordinarily be mean enough to say (without being poked first), but since those Snyder people won't sell Dr Pepper it serves 'em right! I'm sneaking in my DP this year, dadburnit...

For some teams that would be critical, since there would be few fans actually attending the game!
