Unless there is another 17 year old with the same unique name running around Navasota, then sadly, yes. First team all-stater as a junior, picked pre-season defensive MVP in district 23 this coming season.

Can you believe that folks are posting messages on that site complaining about the fact that the story was in the paper? Retarded!

Nobody ever said Navasota people were the smartest, LOL. It is that exact attitude that these kids learn and take into account when they decide who to get into a car with. Is it really the law's fault that he will probably, barring a major change from the DA, lose his future now? Nope.

Nav, that mentality isn't just confined to Navasota, bro. And, it's the reason why so many kids, many with bright futures ahead of them, are making these poor choices. The folks they are learning from are not teaching them accountability, but how to cast blame. Way to many kids running around with victim mentalities.

Yeah you are going to have those not so smart people in every town. I just can believe like every single person on there would comment like that.

This is a really sad story for all of his team because he made a choice that let them down. There is no excuse for him to be running around with anybody with drugs, even if he chooses to say they were not his. The kid was being looked at by several colleges and had a chance for a great future. He is the only one wrong in this deal. I only hope that there is really no others that miss the message in this story and think they can break the law.
