View Full Version : Prayers for my DAD please

Mom called this morning at 7:15 and did not know what to do. My dad had passed out after getting out of bed. I dialed 911, and rushed over, they live less than a mile away.. Took him to the ER and blood pressure was low. He has been having trouble with it being high as of late, so they have changed some meds.
The blood tests revealed some loss of blood through stool samples, and after getting home, there is quite a bit of blood. My mom is setting up a GI docter for him asap, so please keep my dad in your prayers. He is a very healthy 73. Goes to the gym 5 days a week, and plays golf 3-4 times a week, so this was a shock. Need the help of my downlow friends please..

I'll definitely be praying for your Dad. I pray everything is fixable and that your Dad's BP gets back to normal. May God guide the thoughts and hands of those physicians that are treating him.

Something similar happened to me one day a few years ago.

I woke up to tell my wife bye as she went to work and once I got to the living room and got insanely dizzy and passed out. I woke up a few minutes later on the floor not realizing what had just happened.

I went to the ER and they told me to relax and take it easy that day.

Never happened before then and hasn't happened since.

Prayers going out for your dad!!

I had something similar happen to me a couple of years ago too.

I got up from the computer in my office at home and got dizzy, I thought it would pass, but it didn't.

I started trying to walk to the back of my house to my bedroom and remember getting halfway across the living room.

When I woke up, I was laying in the hallway, on my back with my arms out, about 15 feet from where I had just left, by my office.

I slowly got up, decided I felt fine and went on to bed....it's never happened again.

So sorry for the scare. Just got on 3ADL for the first time in months, so I will be praying hard to catch up for those missed days. I am praying for your dad, they are irreplacable, and for you, because we want our dads forever, and I am praying for your mom, because he is her husband. Brahmaland loves ya!
