For you younguns out there, youth and good looks may not last forever. I can't believe how Grace Slick has aged. I saw her live performing with The Jefferson Airplane at the Whiskey in Hollywood in 1967 when I was 21. On the other hand, Stevie Nicks and Pat Benatar are still hot and Ted Nugent has aged very well. Don't even look at David Crosby LOL!

remember the Roth vs Hager debates? OMG - I can remember being at"gatherings REAL late at night" and a couple of guys who drank WAY too much would start fighting over who was better with VH - DLR or Sammy Hager lol..... oh those were the days :)

No contest. David Lee Roth was better. At least I liked their music with DLR better. There were only about 3 or 4 songs from Van Halen I liked when Sammy Hagar was lead singer. I liked nearly every one of the songs with DLR.:p

I personally liked them both. When you think about it, they were two different bands under the same title. At least that's how I looked at it.

Yep, alot of the reason that DLR left, got kicked out, or whatever is that Eddie V was wanting to go to the type of music that you heard when they added Sammy. It was more of Eddies change than a lead singer change.

Anyways it went a lot better than when Motely Crue changed leads. :D

I think Bret Michaels and Jon Bon Jovi have both gotten better looking as they have aged!!

Speaking of David Crosby...he was the sperm donor for Melissa Ethridge and her ex-partner's 2 kids.......I guess vanity didn't play a role in that decision!!:p

No Stevie Ray Vaughn listed in the Times article. Ask Clapton and King who is missing and they would say Stevie Ray.
