I sure hope Whitehouse and Gilmer aren't scrimmaging on Friday night...that'd be a UIL rule violation...unless they got some special exception...per UIL first scrimmages are Aug. 14....unless they are starting at midnight?

10am FW Arlington Heights at Everman
5pm FW Southwest vs. Dallas Smith at Pleasant Grove

That would be a good one, be interesting to see how the young Gilmer secondary matches up with the best reciever in the state! :D

Yep. I just read where they changed it. I think the freshmen start at 9:30, and the JV and varsity follow.

Where did that come from...last word I heard was 8:30 for varsity

I read it over at that other site.:p "franksnbeans" says 10:30 AM. He's usually in the loop, if you know what I mean. I haven't been able to be around any of the coaches or players this year at all. I will just have to take others' word for it.

Well, heck!:confused: I just read where a Wildcat fan said the varsity starts at 8 AM, freshmen and JV start at 10 AM.:doh: So.....just be there at 8 AM. There's liable to be something going on.....:confused:

Gilmer and Whitehouse varsity will scrimmage at 8 am.

This coming straight from the head man and my brother-in-law.

That's all Hooks will do. They play it just like a game minus punt returns or kick returns or trying to block them. It's like getting 2 extra games in. Oh, yeah and they usually do 10 min qtrs.

Im going to watch Sealy and Navasota on Saturday in Sealy. Was thinking of driving to Yoakum to watch Bellville, but after seeing them last Saturday night, only divine intervention will keep them from a 1-9 or 2-8 season.

Im going to watch Sealy and Navasota on Saturday in Sealy. Was thinking of driving to Yoakum to watch Bellville, but after seeing them last Saturday night, only divine intervention will keep them from a 1-9 or 2-8 season.

What time is this one going to "kick-off", no pun intended.....

Celina vs FW Nolan at Celina. 7pm varsity with others starting before 5. 1 Q of game clock after sets are done. And there is BBQ for eating--I think it's $7 a plate.

That was what I understood...a couple of buddies & I are pulling out of Tater Town @ 6:30AM sharp...see 'ya there
